Today, June 15, is Kristen’s 53rd birthday. We got a late start but met our tour guide in Eze. She was the same as yesterday in Nice. Eze is a medieval fortress city on top of a small mountain. Birthday dinner of lentil salad, polenta and beef Bourgogne  Or chef Emory and our butler Teddy after Kristen’s birthday dinner. A lane in Eze.  David and I got Kamel (the driver) to drop us in Nice this morning and we found a coffee/pastry shop and walked around the town. We had a walking tour that started at 11:30 so we met the group there. Our tour guide met us at the Negresco Hotel. Our guide’s English was a struggle for her to say it and a struggle for us to understand it. She told us a lot about architecture and about the hotels along the Promenade des Anglais, but I can’t really remember too much unfortunately. The restaurant is fashioned like a boat on top of a rock outcrop. The water below is so clear and beautiful! I hope to take a swim in it soon!  A week before this was the table for George and Amal Clooney and Randy and Cindy Crawford Gerber So delicious!  So inviting! After l
